What's socially acceptable? Having a car, I do not have one, being popular, I'd say I am a popular guy, wearing a name brand shoe, I wear Pay less and who says Pay less is not name brand? I can find a good pair of Shaq's shoes there.
Being in a school club is not socially acceptable, going to a night club is, drinking, smoking, are majority socially acceptable.
It's totally not socially accepted to talk about Jehovah, go to church especially in my case I am a son of man, a seed of redemption. This really is not socially accepted.
For a majority in the United States these things are not socially acceptable. In other countries people ride camels to work, bikes, even walk miles. Some of these countries even have access to cars, but a very large majority choose to transport themselves in other means.
It's socially acceptable in America to have sex with a lot of people, break hearts, get divorced. Where I come from, none of this matters, so I don't let your opinions or your socially accepted world ruin my perspective.
“He's 20 and does not drive,” tell me where in the book of life does it say to be socially accepted you need a car, to go clubbing, to have sex with many people and break hearts and get divorce not to save yourself for the right person. WHERE?
Are these your rules? Which does not govern from heaven, I follow not the rules which keep me in contact with no direction.
A car is for the convenience of fast transportation, which I will get me a car in the near future it's just does not really affect me now. I skate a lot of places get a lot of exercise which even when I have a car I will still do.
I have more to say though. I will end it on saying this. Being socially acceptable to what's popular is not being socially accepted. It's being controlled by the majority thought, if Einstein decided to be controlled by majority thought he would not have come to the conclusion of relativity, which brings us Quantum Mechanics.
Instead of being what everybody wants you to be, just be yourself, in the end it'll make you socially accepted.
