Time for my May update, or so I reckon.

The recording process has slowed somewhat. I've been struggling to find the time to complete the next mix of 'Everything Changes', a demo of which is available on MySpace. The same goes for 'Why Don't You Play Me', which went back to the drawing board in recent weeks (a live raw version is available on MySpace). Thankfully there's a bank holiday approaching so hopefully I'll manage a few hours in front of the laptop.

I'm gigging twice this month as well, the first of which falls on Saturday May 24th, I'll be in The Merry Monk in Ballina for a night with The Boxty Band (Sligo) before returning to my own material with a visit to The One Take Sessions, the first in roughly six months. That takes place in Cleere's Theatre in Kilkenny with KilkennyMusic.com on Thursday, May 29th.

Though struggling with time, I'm trying to organise a few hours between now and the 29th to lay down some tracks for 'When It Comes To Pass', penned in recent weeks. Once that's down, I'll be looking to go right back to the beginning and record everything in one big swoop, see about organising some type of EP to release before the year is out.

If you're around Ballina on the 24th and you're into your trad-rock stuff, then drop into the Merry Monk. Other than that, I'll see you in Cleere's to kick start the June bank holiday weekend.
