Hello my fellow rock beyatches! (why yes, i DO realize that term is dated!) 

I'm writing this from my couch, where I'm currently rotting in "comfy clothes" with all the blinds closed, nursing a bit of a hangover which I'm lucky isn't much, much worse.

Those who know me know I rarely drink in excess... but last night, at my birthday party show with the Dollyrots and Panik at the Blue Lamp, drinking in excess was definitely on the menu!! And it was served up nice and tasty!

So let me first apologize if I was too obnoxious. But frankly, I think the drunk Brookie is a lot more fun than the sober one, am I right? LOL!

Anyway... what an awesome night. How lucky I am to get to play with some of my favorite bands, and The Dollyrots is waaayy up there on my list. And as if playing with them wasn't enough - I got to jump on stage during one of their songs and sing background vocals along with my good friend Josh, and local punk brother Mickie Rat. GOOD FUCKING TIMES, MY FRIENDS!!!!

And an impromptu ballroom/swing dance on the sidewalk with Luis while he sang "surfer bird" was something I won't soon forget! Even in my drunken stupor!

And even though it was a Sunday, so many of my wonderful friends came out to show their love and rock with us and shove Coors Lights in my face! I love you guys soo much! You all rule!!! It was a kickass birthday party - who could ask for anything more?! I'm a damn lucky girl.
