Well folks, that’s it! We’ve played our last show. Those of you who’ve read my blogs over the years know I can be pretty long-winded. I’m going to spare you this time and keep it short. Our last show was amazing beyond what I could begin to describe. We played a very special brand new song, and we played, well… as if it were the last time. J Sharon Needles and Blare N. Bitch joined Blame Betty onstage for rockin’ renditions of I’m Ugly and I Don’t Know Why and Rock my World that we will NEVER forget. It was a surreal and incredible experience to play alongside these ladies as well as my ass-kickin’ bandmates. And then to top it off, at the end of Psychostar’s set, they pulled me and Jason O. up to finish off the night with Shut up and Fuck. Blare and ....Sharon.... were so incredibly sweet, on top of being AMAZING musicians. What a dream-come-true ending to our four year musical journey. I’m not going to go into individual thank-you’s again. You know who you are. But I will send one massive THANK YOU to every one of you out there in myspace land and in Blame Betty’s lives in one way or another. Your support made it all worthwhile and we could never thank you enough.
We’re all really busy right now, but I’m sure you’ll see us around somewhere. I suspect you’ll see the guys in other bands eventually, and if you’re in a band looking for a guitarist, bassist or drummer – you should totally hit these guys up, because you’d be really lucky to have them. As for me, I’m going to spend my newfound time working on making some changes in another area of my life. I do believe good, exciting things are in store for me, in the hopefully not-too-distant future! So stay tuned… and while it may not be in music, you probably haven’t seen the last of me. Plus there’s always live band karaoke at Marilyn’s, right? Lol! And I’d definitely entertain guest spots in someone’s set on occasion, so don’t forget about me, world!
