LOCA Bulletin - September 9

More news! It's been so crazy lately -- we've been doing gigs left right and centre promoting our show, as well as making and distributing posters, organising props, costumes and tech, and finishing the actual creative content.

FRINGE FESTIVAL SHOWS

Name: Ladies of Colour Cabaret
Venue: Blue Velvet, 60 Smith St, Collingwood
Time: 7pm till 9pm (90min show, 30min interval approx.)
Dates: Fri 26 and Sat 27 Sept; Fri 3, Sat 4 and Fri 10 October
Prices: $15 preview (26 Sept), $16 conc, $18 full

OTHER GIGS - KING VIC

LOCA will be performing a couple of items for King Victoria drag king night
at the Glasshouse Hotel (51 Gipps St, Collingwood) on Friday 19th September. The show starts at 10:30, with super hot DJs till late. I think it costs $5.

OTHER GIGS - TROCADERO ART SPACE

LOCA will also be doing a very small spot at a fundraiser for the Trocadero Art Space (Level 1, 119 Hopkins St, Footscray) on Saturday 20th September. It's a quiz night and I'm not sure how much it costs, so, yeah.

LIA'S POETRY ZINE

So a couple of weeks ago when I said my zine was in Sticky? I totally lied. But this time I am telling the honest-to-God truth when I say my zine is at Sticky. It's called "Telling It Slant" and it costs $3. Let me know if they run out and I'll make more copies.
