Sorry for the loss of your friend and freedom fighter. Why are people so content to spread hate and death over love and happiness? All in the name of religion. The real world is bizarre enough for me.

It's a terrible loss and a terrible indication of how that part of the world is going. Worse for you to have it so close to home --- "Pinky" - the press haven't picked that up! But it helps humanise the situation. She was murdered and 20 people (I think) also died Now more in the riots. We read these numbers and become inured. The test is to NOT be inured.

My condolences - It is an unbelievable tragedy. This blog post should show many that this isn't just something "on the TV". This was perhaps Pakistans only hope. Very, very sad.

A customer came by Friday, moments of short conversation, Economy, forecasts of intrepidation, if not fear, and Bhutto's assassination. He commented, "She knew it was a bad place, before she went...(shaking his head slightly in disbelief) a Patriot, I guess..." trailing off.
We really don't know what Patriots do. They're not bullies...and often...they die.

but what of the effects globalization is having on countries like India and Pakistan. Water rights being owned... rainwater is now a controlled water right...while today, in the Rose Bowl Parade, a float glorifies the Indian belief that water is a gift from God? "We' have no idea how much 'we' affect 'them'. 'We' not only have footprints...we have other people's 'stuff' on our shoes....

Im not sure what happened. However more than likely the person was on a psychotrophic drug. People do not get the help they need in life because psychiatry has been killing for300+ years. and their unholly alliences with the parmaceuitical companys in the name of profit are killing people. I get calls of homicide, and suicide from these drugs all the time.The FDA has ties to the pharmaceuiticals. The state of N.Y. is really bad. I hope your friends will check out my myspace.
