Slinky swimsuits slated for MOSI parties
Plastinated human bodies aren't the only things being laid bare at Tampa's Museum of Science and Industry.

The two potentially huge Super Bowl parties slated for the museum will include some serious skin thanks to local designer Adjanys Marrero. Her hand-crocheted swimsuits and cover-ups, neither of which do much covering, will be part of the fashion shows at the Under the Veil parties hosted by Jermaine Dupri on Jan. 30 and Nelly and Antonio Tarver on Jan. 31.

Marrero, a 30-year-old fashion photographer in St. Petersburg, started Adjani Couture in May 2007, inspired by the crocheted bathing suits her grandmother made in their native Puerto Rico. But these aren't grandma's bathing suits. The designs feature plunging necklines, bared tummies and barely there bottoms.

"I put a little modern twist on them," Marrero giggled.

She's looking forward to getting exposure with the high-rolling partygoers. The parties' VIP tickets cost $600. Janet Jackson, Jamie Foxx and Vivica Fox are among the celebrities expected to attend.
