George Canyon's The Sky’s Not the Limit Tour

Canadian country music star George Canyon is flying to a city near you to perform his music and share stories of an inspired life with diabetes.This series of events is organized as casual summer family fun, so bring your own picnic basket, lawn chairs, and blankets to relax and enjoy. Commencing on June 26th, 2009 in Langley, BC, George will begin a Cross Canada flight in his advanced ultra light aircraft and fly into pre selected airports. At each airport, he will join a celebration with a group of type 1 diabetic youngsters and their parents and talk about the importance of controlling diabetes. After a short performance, meet and greet and discussion, he will board his aircraft and fly off to the next city.

Diagnosed at age 14 with Type I Diabetes, George has not let diabetes hold him back from achieving his life's goals. Now a Juno award-winning country artist, certified pilot, and honorary colonel in the Canadian Air Force, George aims to inspire people with Type 1 Diabetes to pursue their dreams, no matter what the odds.
