Well folks, here's the low down on this dame...
I am going on vacation in ONE DAY! I will be going to Long Beach, California to hopefully avoid sun rays and pet sting rays! I'm going with my dad, my little brother, and my grandma. It's a much needed vacation for my dad's side of the family given the fact that my grandpa just passed away. I am jonsing for fun, for creativity, and for beauty. I know I will have a blast, death in the family, or death in my knee or NOT!
After my vacation, which lasts a week, I will return and start my new job at the University of Phoenix. I'll be taking and making calls--which in its own right isn't exactly the dreamiest of jobs, but? I get free education, aka, my DEGREE, and a nice little pay raise. I will miss my old family at FedEx/Kinko's--I made a lot of good friends there, but it doesn't exactly mean I'll never see them again. Good people are good people. I am more than excited to start my new job--I get to learn yet another new skill to chalk up to my ever-growing list of trades. And I must admit, the thought of free school and my degree makes me salivate like a whoreish wolf hound.
Further more, I am physically doing well--despite my trick knee. I am going to avoid surgery at all costs, only if it becomes absolutely nessecery. Until then? I'm strong, I'm still working out--but my progress in losing weight has slowed some due to my current injury. However, I've done so damned well and I will continue to do as such. I've lost about 50lbs. so far and that's good enough inspiration for me to continue to keep going. I like being healthy and physically fit. I like being able to show off just how strong I can be, heh heh heh...
Lastly? Tis' the month of MY BIRTHDAY! Aka, MARCH 29th--DON'T FORGET! This means? This month is all about me, all about my changes, all about my goals, focusing on my strengths, and being willing to constantly learn, to remain open, and to appreciate every single given second. For as many ups and downs as life can I have? I choose to look at the positive. I choose to find enjoyment in all I do. I choose to make something of myself.
I choose to make my mark, and it will be a positive one.
