This is the myspace site to message me with your booking request to play a show @ the Rogue Hero, in the MESSAGE ME portion of the site, NOT as a BLOG COMMENT.  The list is long, I'll do everything I can to get as many bands onto our stage as possible.  Promotions, hard work, and good performance will always make me a huge fan of every band, do work!

If you message me via THIS blog, you are very stupid for not reading it...

Hey, it's the Order of the Crimson Wizard again. We dropped off a press kit a while back, and dropped you a line via myspace; just wanted to make sure you know we exist. We are itching to play a show at the Rogue. We have 2 live performance videos up on myspace now if you want to check them out. Thanks.

Daniel Dark

Hi,
Daniel Darks first record is now available and I am looking to start promoting the record with my band Disciple of Disarray. We would do very well on a hard rock/metal bill and are very excited at the prospect of playing your venue. We are local and ready to play anytime, but would really like to get on before school gets out. Shoot me an email back and I will deliver you a CD. Best.
Daniel

Fanny Alger

Hey B

I need to set up a skagit valley southern fried gospel porno punk lava rock throw down!

Fanny Alger + Fortune 500 and perhaps another valley band? Maybe a b'ham band to throw into the mix? What ya think? We spoke of a May date and that works well for all. Thoughts, questions and comments?

I now reside in B-town and can do promo, (radio interviews, posters, basic whoring) if we can set something up soon.

Look forward to making history!

Mon Marie

Daniel Walker here for Mon Marie, we are interested in setting up a show at The Rogue Hero. Ideal dates would be mid to late May. As you can see by our myspace we're a hard working band and we have extensive promotional capabilities (not limited to: high quality pre-made flyers/posters, radio spots, a large WWU fan-base). Also we can secure another Portland or Seattle band if need be. Please Check us out at www. myspace. com/monmarie.
thanks so much

Greetings Mr. Bucketz,

Trombone Cake would love to play The Rogue Hero as the kick off show of our first west coast tour. We have some radioplay on KEXP and do very well with our Seattle shows. We work our asses off to promote our band in everything we do.

I heard about Rogue Hero from my friend Matt in 17th Chapter who says that's the place to play. we are looking at August 1st or July 18 right now.

i love that you specifically said to send you a message if a band wants to play and to NOT leave a comment...

instead you get over 20 comments from bands about booking.

people are idiots.

Volifonix

Hey Rogue Hero!

Volifonix here - out of Eugene OR.

Volifonix just returned from a 2-month hiatus in Newport where we completed our full length cd – and we’re hittin’ the road.
(We have a mini-play CD available on topsecretrecords. net, itunes, and cd baby.
)
We have a West Coast tour beginning the end of June but would rock the opportunity to play at The Rogue Hero before we take off. It would be great to work with you and produce a sweet show for your club.

Please check out myspace at your convenience and if you are interested, hit us back with availability.

I am submitting a press kit to you by mail, as well.
And below is a copy of our latest press:
"If a beat drops in the forest can anybody dig its scene? These and other questions answered by Oregon funkateers, VOLIFONIX
Completely original. Pop/Rock/Funk/Junk. Pure muso-theoretical kung fu with a muscley groove. Great songmanship, fun, and jam. Reckless, focused, crazy with smooth. Volifonix is the true sage of its form; a hair-on-fire funkfried rock band from the woods of the Pacific NW. WARNING: heavy timber.
"

We look forward to hearing from you and thank you so much for your time.

Dizzy Balloon

Hi Bucketz,

This is Louie from Dizzy Balloon (Ashley Graham from WigPR referred me to you).

We are a pop-rock band based out of San Francisco looking to book a show at The Rogue Hero between April 16-25 as part of a Spring tour we're doing with this Berkeley based hip-hop/pop duo, called The Cataracs.

Some background info on Dizzy Balloon:

Last September we released our self-titled debut album to sold-out crowds at San Francisco's Bottom of the Hill and Los Angeles' The Knitting Factory. We consistently draw crowds of 350+ in our hometown and have played most all of San Francisco's staple clubs, including Slim's, Great American Music Hall, and Café Du Nord. Two months ago we were were picked by the Bay Area's leading rock station, KITS 105.3 (Live 105) out of 120 local bands to open up their annual Not So Silent Night concert at the Oakland Arena featuring The Killers, Death Cab For Cutie, Bloc Party and more. We most recently went on a California tour with The Jakes, playing shows everywhere from Sacramento to San Diego, Berkeley to LA and more.

Please let me know if you have any openings on the inquired dates and I sure hope we can figure something out.

Thank you for your time,

Louie
