Here we go, blogworld.......and who invented the word "Blog" anyways. I mean, I know the word "log" is in there and I get it but couldn't they have come up with something better than a word that sounds like the kind of burp that hurts the rest of the afternoon.

All the same, here we are blogging away.

Back home from the road for a spell.  What  a great summer.  Nothing beats hopping in your car with a brand new record and taking it to the world yourself.  I'm sure that in some way or another we're all hoping for the "big break" at some point but something about this way that feels like the real thing. As I approached New Orleans on HWY 10, I rolled all the windows down and let the heat pour into the car and all around.  What a feeling. What a great time.

Still don't feel like I've "found the city" yet. The real city seems to be in tighter corners and smaller rooms that are more tucked away.  Gotta go back soon. What I do know is that if you they can feel any bit of soul or heartbeat in your musice, they'll give the same right back to you. What more can you ask for.
