Every beat from Skulk:Partition[Root] in the new Plugged album has the power to take you to a new world full of silicon, passion and anger. With a strong punch and the comprehension of these mutating feelings, They starts with two minutes of technological fury, as if you would meet the new Zion for the first time, but more amusing and surrounded by glass.

The trip to the new future, or to the World of SKULK, has no way back, because something new and long lasting starts exactly here. The groove of Setting New Colors (Chaos Ensemble) puts you face-to-face with the chaos of this current exasperated humanity in search of something opposite of its primary roots. The second part of it, Setting New Colors (Banging your head), is the fury of gunmen in a synthetic desert packed of cameras and tracking devices.

Ilha das Flores (Trash Eaters) has the name of a documentary done in the 80s by Jorge Furtado, which is the climax of this technological cannibalism where the prey is your ears. Strong beats go side by side with the vocals of Dalton Kole as the crouching prey. Sequencing This Piano is the beginning of a new chilling side of the album.

Locomotion Machines (Were Made for You and Me) is a big rollercoaster that sounds more like old train models, desperation expressed by strong guitars and a groove that comes and goes. Locomotion Machines (Were Made for You and Me) is the amusement park itself, the continuation of the previous rollercoaster held between today and tomorrow. And THAT is a strong dance groove, a tribute to the pioneer synthesizers of the late 70s, pure magic. Plugged is an album with a strong magic, setting the pace of these current times.

The presence of the scientist and his creation can be felt since the first track of the album, and can only be heard in Hybrid (Talking to the Living Dead), that shows the feeling of creator and creation. True Love Girl is the essence of a hit, a fantastic trip to the 80s. And we get struck by surprise in Magneto Girl, where the direct influences of SKULK are shown with a nice female vocal performance, the summit of the techno pop in the band.

A supernatural power comes up in Unbind (Synthetic and Pure) with a distant lightness and balance that goes on until Unbind (Raw and Analog), that sincerely exhibits the band with a bit of experimentation. Espiral is the track that closes Plugged, the monster is alive, breathing, and prompting to reach its apogee with the silence we carry everyday. Skulk:Partition[Root] in Plugged is this monster alive, strong, breathing hard
