Bio:
The Appreciation Post are a "power-pop/synth-core" band who burst onto the Boston scene in late 2005. After bombarding the East coast with over 2500 copies of their 4-song demo, the guys quickly found themselves playing in front of larger audiences (opening for national acts such as Cartel, Smoking Popes, Hot Rod Circuit & Piebald). Playing every show they could get their hands on, they caught the attention of the Vans Warped Tour and were subsequently invited to play on the Kevin Says stage in 2006. With this momentum, the band hit the studio with ex-Hot Rod Circuit drummer/producer Michael Poorman (Paulson/Piebald/TREOS) to record a proper EP titled "Brighter Sides". The Appreciation Post self-released this disc in February of 2007 to critical acclaim and support from websites such as Absolutepunk.net & Purevolume.com. Many songs from the EP were licensed to MTV. The Ep was also released in Japan by IN-n-OUT Records earlier this year. In the past 2 years, The Appreciation Post have played over 250 shows. Showing no signs of slowing down, they are writing and demo-ing songs for their upcoming full-length - to be recorded in early 2009.
