First and foremost on behalf of the YUCA boys and team, we have to say that we are so thankful for you all and you amazing support of this dream "YUCA" since day one!
We know we are blessed to have each and every one of you as fans and that you guys stick around, supporting us, coming out to shows, buying our music, and faithfully sharing us with the world - we are forever grateful.
There are millions of bands in this world, all vying to be the next classic band and spending countless hours trying to get and keep fans...real fans...fans that stick with you and we have those fans - YOU. Thank you guys for being there for us all the time. It is something we appreciate more than any words can say.
This weekend I had the amazing opportunity to travel to beautiful Vancouver Island, head all the way to the top and spend some time with the one I love in Tofino - land of endless beaches, surf and breath-taking sunsets! What a way to spend Thanksgiving!
As Sara and I were walking along long beach in the chilly autumn weather - we took a moment to actually acknowledge what we were thankful for. It seemed cheesy at first but once we started sharing and listening to each other (and why we were thankful for those things) our hearts began to warm and we were reminded how blessed we are.
Its funny how chatting about things we are thankful for seems lame and something thats doesn't happen very often. I don't remember the last time we sat for tea or a beer with buddies and just shared how thankful for them we are - why is that?
To have one truly great friend is something to be cherished and held onto tightly - maybe we should tell our friends more that we love and appreciate them?

Thats a quote I heard once and love!
It always seems like in life we always chat about the sh*ts and giggles, the negative, the things we don't like, the bad things about the world we live in....heck our news is all that! We've stopped watching the news as it depresses us - is there anything good going on in our communities anymore? Is there anything to be thankful for?
The cool things is that once Sara and I started chatting about what we were truly thankful for, the list kept growing and growing and we would have run out of beach before the list would have been done.
As I write this, sipping my morning tea with my puppy at my side - staring out my window at the amazing fall day with the squirrels & birds all gathering and eating food - I am in love with life!
I am so thankful that I have the support and people around me that encourage and push me to actually LIVE LIFE TO ITS FULLEST.
For this - I am forever grateful.
