Hello everyone! I've been quiet here lately
but busy preparing to launch the country solo project and also preparing for
Tiger Army's only shows of the year, Octoberflame 2009!
For those of you who were unable to tune in to my
radio appearance on Loveline, I announced that the country solo project will
make its live debut in a guest appearance at Octoberflame, a few new songs will
be played live for the first time anywhere!
Speaking of live appearances, Nick 13 (the solo
project) will perform at the Stagecoach festival next April on the Palamino
stage with such legends as Merle Haggard and Ray Price! I’m very excited about this! We will have a release next year and we
will tour in support of it!
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR TIGER ARMY – Tiger Army is
NOT breaking up, but much of 2010 will be devoted to the recording and touring
for n13 solo, so DON’T miss Octoberflame, IT WILL BE YOUR LAST CHANCE to see TA
for quite some time! No touring is
planned for Tiger Army for 2010.
If you’ve been thinking about traveling to Octoberflame, do it!
We’ve slaved away in the practice room so that we
can play a different set every night!
For example, you will hear TWELVE different songs on Saturday night than
on Friday night, including songs we haven’t played live in years or have NEVER
played!
