http://www.animal-crossing.com/wildworld/ this is the game: This is my addiction until recently. To those of you who don't know what animal crossing is its a game where you move in to a small village. Get this: you fish/collect bugs/make friends etc,, the weird thing is you never kill anything and there are really no scores. Until recently I had enjoyed the game occasionally until I realized that the animals were keeping track of how many gifts I was giving them and how I often I came over to their places. Which honestly is stupid. Its litereally like you sit there and watch them do stuff. The last straw came when Bill (he's a duck,,,, get it) asked me to hang out. He asked me to schedule a time, and for those of you who have hung out with me before I'm pretty bad at the schedule a time to do stuff kind of thing (I've been better since my blackberry arrived, but only marginally). Anyway I scheduled a time and TOTALLY forgot. I played the game like 5 days later and ALL of the animals had heard that I had dissed Bill and were giving me the cold shoulder. Bill was FURIOUS and when I say FURIOUS I mean it he had steam coming out of his ears, he called me a "talkie" because I'm all talk and no action. What a dick I've got other things to do Bill and Tipper (who moved to Chris's village). Its ridiculous. Also on a similar not my Nintendog is hungry and pissed and doesn't even remember the sound of my voice. I missed feeding the virtual dog for 5 days and the dog was so pissed. I played with the dog again and we were cool and I thought every thing is fine but its not. The dog really hates me now, I haven't fed it or bathed it in 4 months and to be honest I don't want to. I HAD to throw the cartridge away it was to much of a commitment. All this pressure to just "play a little bit every day" I can't do it. I've got enough stuff to do without all these animals making me feel guilty for not playing in the village often enough. I'm done with you guys I'm going back to when things were simple when you would just kill stuff and jump on platforms and collect stuff, and when you turned off the machine you know the characters in the game were probably glad I wasn't playing (cause I own) I'm out mtcs

That is a real shame that you lost all of your animal friends. I am very sorry to hear that.

Bill sure does talk a lot of crap out of his mouth (?), and with friends like that, who needs enemies. You don't need Bill. OR Tipper. Move beyond that phase, and know that you have friends/acquaintances that support you through this difficult time. And if Nook is still running that damn store, tell him to cram it. I don't need his job anyway.

Yeah, I just couldn't handle the pressure of Animal crossing. It's like having a freak'n job, and those vermin are soooo demanding. If I could just live like a hobo in Animal Crossing I'd be happy. Riding rails, and eat'n beans without having to listen to Tom's latent threats about paying off your house or the insane demands of the citizens. I swear it's like Deliverance, but with little animals.....that talk.
