I recently engaged in a simple discussion with an individual whom is questioning God and his existence. I always am happy to talk to someone whom is questioning or doubting God because the fact they even have him on their mind is a good sign that they may potentially see the truth.

Without asking questions, how can we ever come to an answer?

It is not irreverent to question God... it happened multiple times in scripture. Christ was questioned regularly and he immediately was prepared with an answer, he did not blast them with a bolt of lightning and neither should we.

MY RESPONSE:
1. The scientific community has substantial evidence that Carbon-14 dating (used to date the age of rocks and precious metals to determine the age of the earth as well as dinosaurs) is incapable of providing accurate information because of the fluctuating amount of carbon-14 left in objects as well as the rate of decay of the carbon-14 within the object. The world may be older than several thousand years old, the bible doesn't give an exact time of creation, we can only estimate... however it is fact HUMANS have only been here for several thousand years.

2. Is God, whom created this entire earth and sustains it, incapable of directing animals or creating animals to fill the boat? Every millisecond our atoms litterally disappear and the scientific community cannot understand what sustains them. Matter is nothing without atoms and atoms are nothing if they are not sustained by "something"... is it impossible to imagine then that a divine being sustains these atoms, or is that chance? It takes a phenomenal amount of faith to believe that this earth is precisely where it is, that living conditions are exactly what we need, that our body shows signs of being capable of being sustained forever (like we were originally created to do, science is just now discovering this), and that our atoms and molecules should not even continue to exist EXCEPT they are sustained by "something"... 3. Again if God is sustaining the very atoms that make you YOU, can he not likewise sustain an individual inside of a whale? Even without God the human body can live for 30 days without food.

Your right I can't PROVE it.
It takes an equal amount of faith to believe that my ancestor was a monkey.
In order to have faith in evolution you must first believe in that and not ask the question "Why has evolution stopped? Why are there not hybrids of humans and monkeys today?"
again you have to base your faith on a "similar DNA structure" and "opposable thumbs"
You don't actually see anything the evolutionists tell you, your just told to believe it. You don't see animals evolving today, you have multiple missing links, yet we still believe?! why!?

I can say this however. All of these topics are trivial and never ending spirals of discussion. The only matter here is Jesus Christ. Let me ask you a few simple questions science i politely responded to yours. Jesus Christ used his life to serve others, to help improve their life, and to impact them with the miraculous power of God, and showed them that all it takes is faith (even if you cannot see it with your eyes) and you will experience his love and power. He lived a blameless life, he did no wrong to another and was crucified for living this way and proclaiming to be one with God. He gave his life, and was beaten beyond human recognition so that YOU, a sinful individual, could spend eternity with him.  Everything God has ever done has been in mercy for you, and for your benefit... you haven't earned it and don't even need to try, hes just that in love with you. The bible says "God wills all men would be saved"... (men = mankind)... he doesn't desire for anyone to goto hell, seriously. He gave a huge sacrifice and has given the whole world the same opportunity to know him and experience how great he is if they will only believe and have faith. As soon as someone accepts Christ and falls in love with him, he will make himself real to them and continue to show his love. He knows peoples hearts though and if their doing it to "try it" then they will experience nothing. It is about having a real relationship with God, because of his love and mercy for you exactly the way you are.

He doesn't want you to be some religious nut, but just to follow him and his word for YOUR benefit and his glory. period. Nothing else matters. MY life is incredible because of him and what hes done for me, and this incredible life is because of him and is available to anyone who wants it.

I watched a man rise out of his wheelchair after being paralyzed for 31 years a few weeks ago in Argentina. Science could not do that. Evolutionists cannot explain. But my God can do that when we have faith in him.
