Monster Hunter 3 will be on the Wii? Capcom will be switching platforms because it's cheaper to develop on the Wii. How crazy is that?

Although it makes a lot of sense. Sony's quest for next-gen pwnage really blew up in their faces.

For those of you who have missed the last few years of life, and have no idea what the Monster Hunter franchise is all about...let me break this down for you.

You hunt dragons, and quasi-dinosauric animals. You kill them, and then cut pieces off of them. You use those pieces to make better armor and weapons. The weapons are huge. Seriously. Check out the picture below:

That's a low-level weapon. Once you really get the hang of slaughtering animals, things get even better.

So far, the US has only seen Monster Hunter, Monster Hunter Freedom (PSP), and Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (PSP). I was hoping Monster Hunter 2 would've been released here, but Capcom chose to screw over the US market. Now that MH3 will be on the Wii, they may choose to release it here.

I'm still skeptical on how the controls would work. Accessing the game menu with one hand may prove to be too difficult.

I downloaded RF Online tonight, since it's freeware now. It's from the same company as Archlord, so it has the same faults. Overall, it's good, because of the sci-fi theme. It's gets boring playing the same type of orc/elf/dwarf player.
