AM interstate seems to find a way to walk eyes wide open through a sand storm and never lose sight.
Analog purists and
rock n roll revolutionaries, AM Interstate may just be your next favorite band. Evoking a sound on their latest album, Kimono Dragon, that brings to mind classics such as The Beatles and Pink Floyd, they also manage to fit in well with the current explosion of indie psychedelic pop bands such as Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Warlocks and The Black Angels.
The two noise makers from Portland, Oregan have already spent plenty of time on the road in both the USA and UK, playing shows
that have included much talked about spots on industry gatherings including CMJ in New York and South By Southwest in Austin. With the band now signed to California's Poison Tree Records, AM Interstate will be back on the road to build upon their fan base and expand their sounds into new territories such as Europe and Australia.
