THE FRANTIC SET TO PLAY MAIN STAGE AT Q101.1'S BLOCK PARTY SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 ALONGSIDE ATREYU, PENNYWISE, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, LOCAL H AND MANY MORE

Armed with enough fist-pumping energy to make listener's arms tired and pop hooks sure to garner massive sing-a-longs, Chicago's THE FRANTIC have taken the nation by storm with an explosive jolt of punk-meets-pop. On Sunday, September 14, the boys will bring it all back to where they started when they appear on the Main Stage at Q101.1's Block Party in Chicago.

The Frantic crew may be young—vocalist Kyle Dee and guitarist Ian Farnesi are both barely 18, while bassist Chris Farnesi and drummer Brett Hartwell are the elders at 19—but after one listen to their current Sinister Muse Records release AUDIO & MURDER, one would think The Frantic are seasoned veterans. In fact, Audio & Murder, produced by multi-platinum producer Mudrock (Riverboat Gamblers, Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack), is proof that age means nothing in today's music industry. The album's adolescent angst is complimented with powerful songs and addictive harmonies sure to get mosh pits in motion.

As one of Alternative Press' "100 Bands You Need To Know In 2008," The Frantic have been tough to miss. This year alone, the band has been featured at MTV, FUSE, XM, Sirius and AOL Radio, as well as national commercial radio, including Q101.1, spinning "Audio & Murder," the first single and title track from the album. The band has also rocked live this year at the Vans Warped Tour, Taste Of Chicago, South By Southwest (SXSW), Zumiez Couch Tour, and Milwaukee Summerfest amongst a slew of consistent tour dates nationwide.

THE FRANTIC return home to Chicago for the Q101.1 Block Party on Sunday, September 14 to deliver their signature high-energy live experience to the hometown faithfuls, showcasing why Q101.1 has already named the band "Best Band In Chicago" and "Best New Artist" in 2007.The band plays the Main Stage at 2:00PM alongside other headliners including Atreyu, Pennywise, Bullet For My Valentine, Apocalyptica, and Local H.

THE FRANTIC are currently available for interviews to advance their Q101.1 Block Party appearance, as well as in-person the day of the show. For interview requests, press materials, or additional information, contact:
