Who Gives Kudos:

Tuesday, August 15, 2006
So, Saturday was interesting. A quick toss of cares aside, I decided it was time to get away from my college look and try something different. And so, the days of shopping began. The rules were simple.

1) You, the female companion who genuinely wants what is best for me, can drag me into any store(s) of your choosing.

2) Once in a store, you are free to hand me any article of clothing and make demands such as "Try this on" or "Hold this please".

3) Once things have been tried on to your liking, you may then make such decisions such as "you should buy this" or "yes, get that". To these requests, as long as 1 and 2 are followed, I will comply.

The end result of this venture was a lot of new clothes. I repeated this process on two days with two different groups (in order to get a good diverse second opinion). The results of the shopping were good: 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of shorts, 6 undershirts, 3 overshirts, 2 belts, 1 pair of sunglasses, 1 pair of pajama pants, and a good deal of confidence.

One of the outfits is up on flickr:

I actually pulled out a black stretchy shirt from college I originally got for a nightclub. Now, it's just standard attire, go me. Unfortunately, the jeans lack really good pockets, so I'm carrying a messenger bag now. Fortunately, the bag is pretty cool and it lets me keep a bunch of small things with me at all times. It also lets me take my camera with me everywhere. You never know when you'll want a good picture.

===

Oh, and there are some events coming up...

BAAS BBQ this Saturday - the usual spot. Call me if you need info.

SF Trip Sept 2 - If you're in the Monterey / SJ / East Bay crowds, and need info, poke me via the usual ways.

October Fondue Birthday Bash - not a clue yet. But it will be awesome

November NY- first weekend in Nov I'll be in new york. Take that however you will

===

And with that, I'm out :D

Nice x3

I bring my camera with me everywhere also. At the most odd moment something can happen.

Now do you mean the city or the state? Of course, if the former then the latter follows suit. Sort of like if the Industrial Revolution happened in England or Great Britain (as I am sure everyone from Welch's class remembers). But that is besides the point. Nice clothes, by and by.

I will have to see if I am able to call ye soon, has been too long since we talked (though I am sure you can imagine a world in which you might forgive me for such, seeing as how I am married now, which is still a crazy thought both in the concept itself and its implications for our respective ages, which happen to be quite similar).

Randomness, if you haven't yet, you must see askaninja.com's review of Jack Sparrow 2... I mean Pirates 2.

Sounds good. Give a call whenever. Is the Mr. T for texas now too? :D As for NY, the city in the state. Thanks for the clothes. I had a very helpful friend throw away everything in my closet. :)

The marrige is still fresh in my mind, being so recent and all. But the more important question is, are you surviving the heat?

And yes, I saw the askninja.com review. Awesome as always, haha.

Sounds like you were playing the biological Ken doll. :D

I'll have to suggest this idea to Korina. ;)

When exactly is your birthday, if you don't mind me asking? I'm sorry that I missed it. :( I hope that it was a good day for you.
