Hello all Fred here how is everybody doing on this cloudy monday morning??
Soooo I have been putting this off but it's time to come clean and tell you all just what the hell is going on. For quite some time now Team Waterpolo has been fighting to stay afloat. We have had two headline tours of our own playing to pretty much empty venues everynight. This doesn't really bother us because we love playing the music but our record label unfortunatly don't seem to share our enthusiasm. A few weeks ago Sony decided to give our album back to us in other words yep DROP US!!! So we found ourselves in the position of what do we do??  We started building a recording studio in Lex's garage we thought fuck the industry lets just make our own studio so we can record our own shit without loads of stupid moronic industry types fucking with our msuic. We started jamming together,  something we hadn't done in like almost 6 months although Nathan had gone to America and it was just the three of us, it was electric and we started getting song ideas out of the jams, but the music was much darker than TWP more aggresive. It was at this point thant we thought about maybe leaving TWP behind. The studio is now complete and looks fantastic.About a week ago we got an email from Nathan, he has decided to leave the band and move back to America which is where he originally came from all those millions of staryears ago. Nathan went to school with Rugg and myself and we have known each other and played in bands for over 12 years, it was a very very sad day for us but we understand his decision and wish him all the best I know that guy will get far due to his incredible musical talent.

SOOOOOOo where does that leave us Me, Rugg and Lex well first let me tell you the bad news.  This is the official ending of Team Waterpolo,  as one of our members has left we decided TWP is over, we had an amazing two years, easily the greatest experience of my life, if any of you reading this were their at the start ( July 2007) you will know how crazy it all went. It is my personal wish that our album is to be given away for free on the internet , we are so proud of our little album we made and I want people to hear it. I dno how we will do this yet but we will figure out a way. The good news is their is a new musical project that we are working on that already seems to be smashing TWP out of the water we will be leaving alot of our pop mentality behind for this new project , it will be darker grittier and well it's all still top secret. Eventually the new project will be put up in TWPs top friends so keep your eyes peeled. Just so you know we plan to come back with this new project, and of course again world domination is our goal!!  I want to say this and i truly mean it Thankyou from the bottom of my heart to each and everyone one of you who came to watch us play or bought a single, words can't describe how grateful I am to our fans. We may not have been the biggest band ever lol but we did have loyal fans and I love you all. I don't give a toss how corny it sounds.
Apologies for the bad spelling and punctuation I wasn't going to post this blog, and I have just typed this out pretty furiously and not looked back, so it may be a bit sketchy but this is the truth and I'm glad you all know. I will keep checking up on the myspace so feel free to message me, any questions etc I will happily answer.
So from Team Waterpolo we wish you all adieu, may the stars guide you and the fires of Mordorph not burn you to a crisp. I have a feeling we shall all be meeting again sometime soon. Here is to the future

                                THE DIRTY FUTURE!!

So so sad it is a real shame you guys have had to split. The industry deserves a good slapping fornot giving you enough air time! I have been telling everyone who'll listen how good twp are { were :( } I've texted Radio one many many times and will never forget the first time I heard you at Colchester Arts Centre when you backed up Jolene and the Jing Jang Jong, we thought you totally rocked the place and (sorry if J & jjj are looking) were better than the headliners. Your music will live on on my ipod and the little badges given away will still be worn with pride. A sad day indeed but here's to bigger and better things keep all your fans posted about your new band as I for one have every confidence that it will be awesome!
Thanks for the music guys, you truly rock xxx

NO! NO! NO! NO! you can't! you were seriously one of the best live bands, every second was completely entertaining. they should have at least let you release the album and see how that went, we've been listening to you for ages waiting for every new song, and EVERYONE who has seen you live loved you! also.......... what about "letting go" that's one of the best live songs EVER!
I've still got that TWP sticker you gave me in manchester stuck in my wallet, and there it will remain!
you should at least do one last goodbye concert, i know loads of people who would come!
I'm going to go and try and cheer myself up with a hot chocolate.
Dom
p.s
i can't wait to hear the album though...
