Get Closer To: Tom Gilbert

Those "Get Closer To" things really annoy me.
1. The people they select are idiots or people I have no interest in. Eg. Kelly Osbourne and Leona Lewis. "Add as a Friend" "See their blog". Forget it, see my blog if anyones. Why isn’t it; "Get Closer to - Stephen Fry" or "Get Closer to - Stephen Hawking" rather than "Get Closer to Steve the bin man from X-Factor".
2. The celebs they’re highlighting don’t respond. Fact. I’ve tried to add Dawn Porter a few times now. I know she’s logging on and doing stuff but never accepts my friend request. Bitch. Bet she only accepts women. The big feminist.

I’m going to make my own and get MySpace to put it up.

I want to be a cool new person too. I wonder how you get to be one? I always have the same people on my "cool new people". Are they really cool? Dave 41 from Essex?! I think not...
