Today is the day Music Family!

Well, I woke up around 4am this morning cause I couldn't sleep.

Not because I'm nervous about tonight but because today is a very special day.

Me performing?  No, its deeper than that

It's Martin Luther King's day.

I learned at a very young age to appreicate unexpected opportunity.

I had a 3rd grade teacher named Mrs. Stephenson who taught me about opportunity for those who were born into disadvantages.

She taught me about those who struggled to make changes in this world so that I can move forward and have rights of my own.

She introduced me to Martin Luther King.  I think that I drew near to him the moment that I heard about all that he was able to overcome.

I learned this past Sunday that we are hear to pick up where someone has left off. 

Well, today, I will pick up where many before me left off and continue marching to change the mind set of this world through music
