It's funny that you express those sentiments --- you see , I've always thought that time does heal --- in fact I used that phrase in my profile (which is overkill). But perhaps you're right, it doesn't.

It's been 68 years since my Mother died (I was eight), and although I've accomplished much in that time, the hole is still there, and I still try to remember the sound of my Mother's voice.

Sounds like an idea for a country song; Blue Grass at least. --- If I knew how to do that.
