Hi everyone,
We just left France to Switzerland. Paris was a beautiful city and very expensive. It really helped us out a lot because we knew someone there so our accomodations were free. Johanna and I love the metro system and wish San Diego would have something similar but San Diegans are probably too lazy to walk to the stations. Almost everyone there dressed fashionably; I didn't notice many people wearing t-shirts. French seem to love Baguettes but we still prefer Pandesal. We visited: the Eiffel Tower, Arche de Triomphe, La Defense, the Louvre, Champs Elysee, Versailles, Basilisque de Sacre Couer, and Notre Dame. Our feet and legs were really sore from all the walking! That just shows how out of shape we are but it was all worth it. We've only been in Switzerland for about half a day and it's really beautiful and peaceful and we had some REALLY great Swiss food. We're planning on going to up to Juanfraujoch (the highest peak of the Swiss Alps) tomorrow morning. We'll keep you updated.
God Bless,
Beejay and Johanna
