yeh i defo agree wif wats been said already, especialy the sugestion of more metal bein on it, thats the only thing which dissapinted me about GH3, there wasnt that many gd heavy songs u cud reli gt into playin, thats why custom songs are so good, u cn put any song on u like :D so i gt shit loadsa metal on my custom GH, lol
 

mosh pits, more metal some kinda technology where you can just download songs to it instead of modding, custom characters.

I also don't think that there should be a hardcore Guitar Hero for all of us Expert players that want more and more songs by getting rid of the background stuff and have it be straight up notes and no crazy graphics. And... no more Santana.

All metal and no variety makes Jack a dull boy! Without Psychobilly Freakout and Jordan there would have been no real challenges in expert in GH2. Go ahead, try to disagree. If I were to change something it would be to improve the save process. The storyline was cute but that's not why I'm buying the games. Stick with a good mix of music like punk, metal and musically fascinating songs like Cliffs of Dover.
 

There should be a part where we can just create a song with just notes, no lyrics. Just like you can create a park in Tony Hawk games.

make the note charts feel closer to playing the actual song on expert and not like you are trying to hit as many colored notes as possible as fast as you can. i beat all the guitar heros but the last one on expert and i stopped playing the last one because it just wasn't as fun to play....and definitly add more metal like some Pantera, Machine Head, Death, Slayer and Megadeth
 

If all the previous characters from previous the games were brought back, that would be kick ass. It would be definitely be great if they changed Johnny Napalm back to the former old classic Johnny. If some of the old venues were used again that wouldn't be bad, and definitely if each character had their own style of music they played, like in GH2. And if you could create your own character and band, that would be best of all.

i think the aerosmith hammer ons are the best because their not too easy but not too hard.
and to improve guitar hero they should make a metal one with bands like arch enemy and manowar and operatika and strapping young lad
 

i want to see tougher songs. TTFAF has gotten too easy. TDWDTG is slightly harder. With HOPO as it was in GH3, made the game really easy. i want to see the best GH players cower at the face of more difficult songs in the game. Jordan was FCd. what's that tell you? TTFAF was also FCd. what's that tell you even more? TDWDTG has almost been FCd by a few people. I want to see at least one song not even the 1 GH player in the world can FC it. not even a 100%. not even a 5 star. just a 4 star. im an avid GH player. i have a winning streak 23-0 in tourneys. i have alot of people in the guitar hero community playing better than me and all kinds of other people. and they shit on us cos we are not as good as them. some of those players are way too cocky. yes they have the bragging rights, but dont make us feel bad! i was able to 5* TTFAF on the first day. but i cant get past 600,000 mark. i've tried so hard. there's guys in the millions. Only song I ever got over 1 million on was Octavarium by Dream Theater on Frets On Fire for PC. yes it was a 20 minute song, but its mostly single notes. the first and last half of the song are slow with hardly any technique needed and no double or triple button chords. the only hard part is the middle of the song, which lasts 6 minutes about, and its mostly single notes. it's pretty much the lead guitar solo part of it. so to get 1 million on it is a pretty good feat. with that said, why don't they put that song in there? it's a fun one to play. I want to see one of the obscure Buckethead songs off of Crime Slunk Scene used. Like the last track is mostly super super ultra fast guitar soloing. to be able to play it on GH you would need 8 hands. i want to see a song that the best will not be able to get better than a 4*, i can't emphasize that enough. it drives me beserk that there are people out there that can FC the entire setlist on all the guitar hero games available. lets see at least one very very very hard song! Wouldn't that make the people who arent that good feel a bit better in the community, knowing that even the best cant 5* all the songs? i sure think so. the best attempt at what im talking about is Thrasher on Rock Band. it was released in the Thrash Metal Track Pack. that song is not made for Rock Band. the game cant handle how fast it is. much like the latest song pack has Constant Motion by Dream Theater. At the end of Guitar Solo D, it is harder than anything i've ever seen in any of these kind of games. i hope that stumps the best of them. i really do. i was able to at least 5 star it though. way before the song was done right after the guitar solo. So I feel I've made a valid point. Though I know alot of people wont agree with me. But to support my cause, even if you cant pass the song, you can still play all the way through it at least in practice mode, or just turn on a code to pass it. of course they would have to make it like guitar hero 1 and disable the save feature if the code was used. So yeah, who's with me?
