Who Gives Kudos:

October 9, 2009 - Friday
Sure, there's alot going on in TNA and the wrestling world. Unfortunately, I don't have time to get into all/any of that now. Instead, I'll just plug a personal appearance at the Brokerage Comedy Club on October 15th, from 7-9 pm. Wait, let me word that a little more boldly.

BROKERAGE COMEDY CLUB
2797 MERRICK RD
BELLMORE, NY 11710
(516) 781-LAFF
brokerage.ning.com

7-9 PM

This is an event suitable for all ages, and will consist of some storytelling (hopefully humorous, but I can't guarentee anything) a Q&A , and an autograph session. Admission is $20, and includes 1 free autographed item. In structure, it will be alot more like the talks I have given at colleges, without any emphasis on education. I'll make sure the language isn't too bad, and will do my best to make sure that everyone has a good time. Doing this type of thing is alot of fun and I'm glad to say that I will be announcing another several comedy dates in the next week, probably Friday. Hope to see some of you out there on the road.

Allright, I guess I can talk a little wrestling as long as I'm here, especially with "Bound for Glory" coming up in only nine days. I think I've done some pretty cool stuff building this match, and even though I've been pretty tough on Abyss verbally, I think it has brought out the best in his character. I have no doubt that he's going to want to tear the roof off the joint in Irvine, California, and I know  I'll have to be pretty close to my best if I want to keep pace.

I will be doing a couple of big media days for BFG, which will include an October 13 appearance on Opie and Anthony, as well as other radio, some print and a little television. On Friday, October 16, I believe I will be appearing on Playboy radio's "Night Calls with Christy Canyon" at 9PM eastern; always a memorable, if sometimes uncomfortable experience.

That's all for now - see you at the Brokerage, or BFG...or somewhere on the road.

Great One

To me, the stuff you have been doing with Abyss is some of your best work.  On a lot of different levels.  It's right up there.  Good job, and it wouldn't hurt my feelers none if you told that to Abyss either.

TNA was always good, in my book, but good got a whole lot better since this particular angle started!

Hey Mick, I love all the stuff you are doing with Abyss, and I'm hoping you guys have very good match at Bound For Glory. I'm really excited for it and I hope it can be right up there with some of the best things you have done since your return to the ring five years ago. Also is there any truth to the rumor that you might be having a comedy tour? I heard something about you doing one in Chicago and New England. If you are indeed doing one in Chicago, I'll personally try to make it and see you perform.

Hope you can mosey on back to Rochester and check our Comedy Club called ..get this.. The Comedy Club.  Cant' wait to see how you and Abyss mix it up in the Monster's Ball!  I like your back and forth promos over the last 2 weeks with Abyss going nuts after the 'cheap copy' line.  it puts allot of heart in the match and interest.

should your comedic adventures bring you back to Philly, I will surely be there.  Have you even been back here since you and Sting brought the house down at Liacouras?

I think we're all in agreement that your feud with Abyss has been really great. And I am interested in seeing how long it goes. I really like how it went from Dr. Stevie to you really slowly and yet it still makes sense. It doesn't seem to rushed to me, again that's only my opinion and I am biased because I love your work, and it does sound like it is going to be a great match.

As for your comedy, I'm glad you're doing so well. I always thought you were hilarious and I feel this would be a good career move for you. who knows make one day we'll see a show called "Foley" that will be about absolutely nothing. Or maybe you have a butler who has to do everything you say because he owes you money and the judge ordered him to be your butler and...never mind. I will stick to thinking about BFG.
