Simple Teek is the persona of one Corrie Stowers. She is a local rapper du jour, and my friend and co-worker. We have crafted 5 songs which she is going to self-release. The vibe is kind of like rap and pop. I will post some of our work shortly. We got together most Sundays for a few months and had fun crafting these little gems. The elusive thing about rap is that it all revolves around a hook, and once you have that the song seems to write itself. I was having ludicrous visions of getting instantly rich and doing "MTV Cribs"... Sigh...
