Last night, in Fresno, Ca, I expericed the most amazing thing in my entire life. It can even be called a religious experience of sorts. SO last night, the 20th of September, I saw the most amazing thing...NINE INCH NAILS in full blow concert. That's right kiddies, I witnessed the man himself, on stage and in full effect.Everything was just amazing. Trying to put into words what I experienced the night prior is proving to be a difficult task. I'm trying not to come off like some scary freak or rambling idiot...but that just might be the ONLY way I can express what I felt when that music hit at 9:24pm...
it all felt like some surreal dream, I've been waiting to see that band in concert, but it never happened. Either too young or had no mode of transportation or the biggest set back, no money! It just seemed that my NIN concert wasn't met to be, and then it just happened. And it was seriously the best 2 hours of my life. That's right, they played a 2 hour set that was filled with 22 songs and killer stage presence. Trent commands the audiences attention with an iron fist, and takes it all in and manages to shove it all back to you tenfold. Aaron North, Jerome Dillion, Jeordie White and Alessandro [sorry, if I got his name wrong...it's hard to spell!] pour their everything into their performances and it's fucking amazing to witness. Especially Aaron, who runs around his side of the stage like a mad man, constantly running into amps and then throwing himself over them, and STILL continuously playing the songs. He's just awesome. And then there's Trent...
Trent just blows me away. Nothing that he's ever released has disapointed me. It's always been something that was well needed in that time of my life.
His performance was just fucking awesome. On key, in time, on tune, enthusiastic, angry, primal, fierce, dirty, wet and tense...everything I could say, well there probably wouldn't even be enough room for what I could say about the man! [haha] Constantly running around the stage, playing a guitar for a good 90f the songs, pouncing every band memeber that was in reach, jumping up and down and thrashing all over, pretty fucking awesome for a guy that just turned 40. Then the man proceeds to take his mic, which has an incredibly long cord, gather what he could of that cord, and proceeded to hurl the mic into the crowd of people, allowing those lucky bastards to sing along! And he did that Twice! I wanted to be those people! lucky, lucky fucks! But it was all made up for when the man came over to our side of the stage and sang for us. He was literally 7 feet infront of me, it was so fucking crazy! It was just the best. The energy of the band and the crowd, it was perfect, and everyone had a great fucking time. And as fast as it began, as much as I jumped up and down and screamed every word to every song at the top of my lungs and headbanged my way through it, it was over. I never wanted it to end, but unfortunately, the man and the rest of the band have lives that i'm pretty sure that they'd like to live, so they had to move on to their next destination. But for 2 hours, I didn't have a care in the world. I was in my rock n roll heaven and I didn't want to leave! But the house lights came up and I unfortunately had to come back to the real world.

and if it weren't for him, probably 80f these craptacular bands out today wouldn't even exist. He's a musical GENIUS. So your shitty band should bow down and pay the man the respect he deserves. And if you don't agree with that, well fuck you and have a nice day. :-D [oh, take that one lightly people! But Trent is just that damn good.]
oh yeah, Autolux and Queens of the Stone Age played as well. Autolux was great and qotsa were awesome, they can jam!
