• DC Festival 2008 (mega event, Upper Senate Park, DC), Aug 15-16
• F4J March to White House (through the National Mall), on Aug 16
For countless victims of government oppression against families and children, the family rights movement has scheduled " DC Festival 2008", for August 15th & 16th, at Upper Senate Park, located directly across the street from the Nation's Capitol, and it couldn't come at a better time. With the timely arrival of the Equal Parenting Bike Trek cyclists, in conjunction with featured speakers from across the country, and discussing a variety of important topics, plus live musical entertainment, awards and other ceremonies, numerous organizations represented at their official booths all around the park grounds, a lively atmosphere of festivities supporting parental rights, formal parade March from the Festival through the National Mall and on to the White House, the expected crowd of 4000-5000 strong at DC Festival 2008 will be directly positioned for making a huge and dramatic impact, accelerating change for real reform within American family courts.
To be a part of this history in the making, please take a few moments, or longer as needed, to:
1. Go online now to http://DCFestival2008.com and learn about the events, the speakers, the live entertainment, the hotels, the ridesharing and interstate mini-events, the awards, the other ceremonies, and much more information, to plan a fantastic and successful trip.
2. Connect with many other like-minded people and organizations in your own state and in your own counties, for better local support, for arranging more traveling options to all movement events (use 6 people per minivan for lowest costs), and to double or triple your own State reform efforts, by joining forces with your fellow organizations. Because time is limited to quickly network in support of these events, we must use existing systems of linked communication, like the framework of 3200+ Yahoo! Groups for the United Civil Rights Councils of America, i.e., your State http://unitedcivilrights.org/statechapters.html and local counties http://unitedcivilrights.org/localgroups.html, as well as various groups for top leaderships, focus areas, and special tasks, that are designed into our big machine.
