"Save Our Tribal Youth is a non-profit organization committed to improving conditions for Native American youth living on reservations. They came together as a group of Native and non-Native Americans concerned about the high rates of suicide, substance abuse and gang violence among the youth on the Indian reservations.
Joining us on Jan. 23rd as we to talk about Save Our Tribal Youth, as well as, growing up in the boarding school system, a plan to separate native children from their families and be placed in government, so called, schools, as well as forced to live with non-native families is Brenda Everett an Anishinabe (Ojibway) woman, survivor of this heinous system and a political activist, and Kat Solomon, one of the co-founders of Save Our Tribal Youth."

SOTY DISCUSSION/FORUM Join us on Sunday evenings at 8 pm Eastern time for a discussion/form about SOTY. STARTING THIS SUNDAY. Please have a yahoo id because we will be chatting via yahoo instant messaging/chat.
WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF CLOTHING FOR THE PINE RIDGE WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE and monetary donations to help with the cost of shipping are also appreciated. We are collecting winter coats, scarves, mittens and blankets for the children of Pine Ridge.
