These words dictate indoctrinate the masses
rock votes stampede whores these words
deliver God deliver baptism bless the poor
you want to wipe slates clean erase rights of
inherent freedom piss in dark alleys where women
abort you want to leave those who birthed us
to die uninsured these words screamed into
ephemeral space lasting one day lasting
one day to throttle your throat full force these words
these sounds of angry hordes strapped into rockets
not of explosives but camouflaged they are
dying amongst rocks and bullets dying embattled
last stoned breaths unrecognizable under foreign eyes
Soldiers clothed made in China to silence violence
home grown here under weighted words my arms
weak unable to hold this weight of splintered world
hands born open recoil to fists and twists
no longer so easily absorbed and where is God
the food chain the pain of circumsized women
split bodies sewn tightness to repel filthy need
these dirty words this stench and Wall Street
this beautiful dream this home of the brave
playoffs in stadiums and no one to pray
where is God babies on sides of roads drunk mothers
Jehovah and his Witnesses selling arms women
conning donations funding buildings in Brooklyn
foreclosures and immigrants their sons and daughters
Bail out this dreamed up independence
Debs in gowns gifted with BMW's CEO daddies
These words unite not without bite these words
enact legalize free up prisons of pot and those with
no taste for radiated food or flesh or death might
raise their fists in anger but it is words and only words
that level playing fields not killing fields these words
that score life as we know it
LIFE AS WE KNOW IT
JUST WORDS

I like to hear this spat out angrily without a breath taken. I don't know why but I'm thinking the word JESUS! used like "fuck it!" at the end would feel good. Do people say that in the USA?

Hmmm... I think there are several out there that fit that description! Yourself, Jackie Sheeler, Heartsong, Babs, Dan Kellett, Sigerson, etc. It's actually quite a nice community out there! Hopefully our words will make a dent somehow, even if  a small way that sparks a bigger action.

well, that's pretty damn cool being conpared to Patti, however, I think Patti's words were much more sexually charged. We both can be socio/political but I think she was/is this super sexual creature desired by both men AND women.

a bomb is born, you explode all over the subjects, few left standing for the next volley.
i could hear your voice very loud-and-clear razing Jericho to the last stone wall.

This is how we think, why not how we write? It's hard to hear so much all at once, try to sift through all the messages and lessons and prayers; the fighting and the love, the births and deaths and souls lost, finding... us.  Thank you, thank you, thank you...  Right it, Cyndi.

oh,cheers to you, Diana. You really caught the overwhelming gist of this...how frustrating and rapid thoughts can be when pondering such a sensorial overload, which we call this world we live in. We are living in times where everything comes at us so very fast. I wanted to allow this rant to speak the way I hear it in my own head.
