Brass Knuckle Symphony

BraSS kNUckle Symphony Biography

Formed in 2006 by members Eddie (lead vocals), Randy (guitar), Don (bass), and Nick (drums), Brass Knuckle Symphony (BKS) is a hard rock / heavy metal cover band influenced by such bands as Motley Crue, Racer X, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Godsmack, Alice in Chains, and more.

Growing up in the 1980’s, it’s apparent that is the flavor of music we like to play most. However we also understand that there is a lot of good music pre and post the 80’s generation, which is why we try our best to represent these era’s as well. We make a conscious effort to prove that all forms of hard rock and metal can coexist if packaged correctly.

With many years of playing experience, each member played the club scene “back in the day” with various bands such as Shyboy, Aggressor, Blind Rage,
Cherry Pie, and The Circus just to name a few. Now older and a bit wiser we understand more than ever the value of professionalism. Instead of modeling ourselves after other local bands we choose to look to the well established national acts that we each love and respect for our inspiration.

We believe that the music that we play should not only be performed accurately and to the best of ones ability, it must also be visually entertaining as well, with a high energy performance that rivals even the youngest performers of today.
Brass Knuckle Symphony is a must see electrifying show that will not leave anyone disappointed.

Please contact us thru myspace for more details if interested

Absolutely !!
Give us a shout sometime.

We're a female fronted, hard rock band from the Chicago area.

It's not a girly girl ..style.. of vocals, but more in your face.

STAR 69

Star 69 is definitely up for playing a show at Liquor Sweets! Our drummer, Mike, also plays with 7Wishes. We've been playing the area for about a year and a half now, and are looking to get into some new places for shows. We play mostly classic hard rock from the 70's and 80's with a few newer tunes thrown in. Examples: AC/DC, Kiss, Metallica, Guns n Roses, Scorpions, Dokken, Pink Floyd, etc. You can check out our page at myspace. com/star69rockband. There are a few live clips and many pics of our recent gigs.

Night shall eat these girls and boys.

My name's Willy and I play with a three-piece electro-pop group from Michigan called Night shall eat these girls and boys. We're looking for a show on 8/11, 8/12 or 8/14 (preferably 8/12.)

quick info:
Ypsilanti, MI's Night shall eat these girls and boys. has been performing and recording for a little over three years. They released an EP and toured to the east coast and back in the Summer of 2008. Their live show consists of guitar, bass, keyboard/drum machine/electronics as well as vocals from the whole trio. Described by one as "…funky, it’s fun and it’s eminently danceable", Night shall eat combines the emotive qualities of Beach House with the synthesized beats of Hot Chip. They are currently part of Backbone Record's roster as well as being part of Ypsilanti's Not-It! Art Collective. They have been featured in Real Detroit Weekly, The Ann Arbor News and the Eastern Echo. You can hear music, view videos and read press at myspace.com/thesegirlsandboys.

thanks!
