What a busy year it's been! This year I turned 55 too! At a time when most of my friends are retiring, I've decided to try to put a bit more balance into my life by adding a new creative outlet. It's a great stress-reliever and something I haven't done in decades. I'm performing again (with an incredible guitarist I might add). You can check out our website here.

On the work side of things, we've just completed 6 new titles. Character Building Songs, a new bilingual CD in English-Mandarin PLUS  4 new reproducible resource books to complement the Singing Sight Words series. I've uploaded some mp3s from Character Songs and the Bilingual Mandarin here on MySpace.

I'm so proud of the Character Building Songs! I've posted up the Honesty song sung in unison and then sung as a round on MySpace. Absolutely the entire album of Character Building Songs can be sung as rounds. This is a great way to let kids learn to co-operate while having fun and singing at the same time!

The new Bilingual Songs: English-Mandarin Chinese were a challenge but well worth it. This was a collaborative effort by many educators and linguists from China. The vocalists are dynamite! Take a listen.
