This is an exciting time! In January I’m going to Spain.
Let me tell you about Pueblo Inglés. Held in one of several four star resorts; this is a special English Immersion program for Spaniards. Participating Anglos attend free of charge.
Check it out for yourself at: www.puebloingles.com
This is really SO neat. The only stipulation is that Anglos must speak (only English) to their Spanish counterparts 14 hours (from 8 am to 10 pm) every day! The week that I participate, is a special week set up for Spanish teachers preparing to teach in English Immersion programs.
But what’s really exciting about this trip is that I’ll get to meet one of my MySpace friends in person! Before heading off to La Alberca, I’ll be flying in and out of Madrid. My MySpace friend, Jorgito and his girlfriend, a teacher, live in Madrid. She uses our songs in her classroom!
Really. The world has become so small. We could surely encircle the world now, with arms outstretched and fingers touching.
The other day, I remarked to a friend, that I do not feel that I live in Canada. My house is in Canada, but I am a resident of the Internet. How about you? Do you feel that you, too, are a resident of the Internet rather than one physical space?
Until next time!
P.S. Message me if you are near Orlando, Guadalajara or Madrid. These next couple of months are filled with traveling. It would be great to meet you too!
