June 29, 2009 (NEW YORK) – THE BLACK CROWES announce the second and third leg of their 2009 ‘Stuck Inside Utopia” Tour.

‘Stuck Inside Utopia’ begins August 25, 2009 at Wolf Trap in Vienna, Virginia and concludes in the US with a five night run of shows at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco on December 6, 2009.

On September 1, 2009, THE BLACK CROWES will release their new studio CD, Before the Frost... and celebrate with a live performance on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”

A second album, titled …Until The Freeze, will be given away for free exclusively through a unique download code which is included in Before The Frost… as a “thank you” to their fans for two decades of continued support.

THE BLACK CROWES are: Chris Robinson (vocals), Rich Robinson (guitar, vocals), Steve Gorman (drums), Sven Pipien (bass), Adam MacDougall (keyboards) and Luther Dickinson (guitar).

Tickets for the second and third legs go on sale as listed below and are available at the box offices and through www.livenation.com or www.ticketmaster.com.

Is there any way you guys can use another ticket broker other than Ticketmaster (Ticketbastard)??? They are such a ripoff!  They charge exorbitant fees and they don't return the full amount when an event is canceled.  Not to mention that they mysteriously sell out of tickets for many of your shows within seconds of them going on sale! This happens every time you play the SF Fillmore! They sell out within seconds, yet within minutes there are tickets for the "sold out" event for resale on other websites for ridiculous amounts. PLEASE use an alternative ticket broker if you can. Musictoday.com was great about refunding the entire purchase price for all the shows you canceled last year. Ticketbastard will not do the same, and they charge more fees!  I've filed as many consumer complaints as I can about Ticketmaster and am encouraging others to do the same.  Since they've merged with Live Nation, they've become a huge corporate conglomerate and are screwing consumers.  I'll keep working on things on my end.  Here's a response that I received to one of my consumer complaints about Ticketmaster's unfair business practices:
Thanks for the consumer report you filed with us recently. We appreciate your telling us about the situation you encountered. 

Your complaint has been selected for publication on our site and will appear within the next 48 hours. 

Even if you are not able to achieve satisfaction individually, you will at least have the comfort of knowing that thousands of consumers will see your complaint, perhaps enabling them to avoid a similar misfortune. Also, our site is visited regularly by law enforcement agencies, local and national media and consumer organizations and we work closely with all of them to help identify consumer concerns.

Thanks again. We appreciate your sharing your experience with us.
