Adrian Lester attended Joseph Chamberlain VI Form College and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. His television and film credits include "Ellis" on Girlfriends, "Mickey Bricks" on BBC's Hustle, and "Dr Ben Ergha" on BBC's Bonekickers. He also plays Myror on the new programme Merlin. He won an Oliver Award for his performance as "Bobby" in Company in 1995. Lester is married to actress Lolita Chakrabarti, and the couple has two daughters, Lila Harvey Chakrabarti (born 2001) and Jasmine Harvey Chakrabarti (born 2004).
James Earl Jones is a well known stage, film, and voiceover actor from Mississippi, USA. He most universally recognized role is the sinister voice of "Darth Vader" in the Star Wars Trilogy, but he has had dozens of roles before and after this famous performance. Notable stage roles include "Brick" in the New York City Production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and he has won two Tony Awards, one for Great White Hope and one for Fences. His performance of Othello is also highly acclaimed. His film and television credits include "Alex Haley" in Roots: The Next Generations, "Thulsa Doom", in Conan the Barbarian, and "Terence Mann", in the baseball film Field of Dreams. Another famous voiceover performance is the role of "Mufasa" in Disney's The Lion King. He has recieved three Emmy Awards, one Golden Globe Award, and one SAG award. He currently resides in Millbrook, NY and is been married to Cecilia Hart. They have one child, Flynn Earl Jones.
Phylicia Rashad is probably best known for her role as "Clair Huxtable" alongside Bill Cosby on the sitcom The Cosby Show, for which she was nominated for 2 Emmy Awards. Rashād also appeared on Broadway, most notablely as "Deena Jones" in Dreamgirls and then again in 2004, when Rashād became the first African-American actress to win the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play, for her role in the revival of A Raisin in the Sun. Also, the 2008 television adaption of A Raisin in the Sun earned her the 2009 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special.
Sanaa Lathan was born in New York City and later graduated with an English degree from University of California, Berkeley. She then enrolled at the Yale School of Drama. She starred along side Phylicia Rashad in both the 2004 stage production and the 2008 film A Raisin in the Sun, and is known for her role as "Alexa Woods" in Alien vs. Predator. She also plays "Michelle Landau" on Nip/Tuck, for which she was nominated for an Image Award. She was also the recipient of two Black Reel Awards and BET Award, one Theatre World Award, and one Image Award.
