Do you like music? Are you tired of listening to commercial based radio?

KKUP is a non-profit organization, beholden to no one but the listeners, who by their subscriptions alone have kept the station on the air for over 35 years. All of our DJs are volunteers and take their time out of their normal busy schedule to play music that they feel you, the listener, would enjoy. They buy their own music or the artist sends in their CDs.

By maintaining this separation from corporate backing, grants, or any other money source that would place demands on our programming, we're free to express opinions and offer music heard nowhere else in mainstream radio.

Nobody gets paid at KKUP -- be it the General Manager, the DJ, the Webmeister, or the person behind the scenes stamping envelopes. As believers in free expression, we work there for the love of it!

Every Day offers Music ranging from comical to classical, reggae to barbershop, new age to oldies, world music to bluegrass, blues to gospel, timely issues to philosophy, vintage radio to poetry, and much more! It's all here!

Give KKUP a listen on 91.5 FM. Better yet, given the eclectic nature of our programming, try several listenings at various times during the week.

An annual subscription of only $25 costs you less than 7 cents per day (about the price of a stick of gum) but it is essential nourishment for KKUP (which is often kept in repair by bubblegum).

We are holding a World Marathon full of different types of music such as African, Middle Eastern, Eastern Indian, European, Latin American and much more.

We are looking to raise over $7,000 to stay healthy and keep the lights on and you, the listener, happy with different genres of music.
