Current mood:  optimistic
Category: Music
Hey everyone,

Well unfortunately my time in Los Angeles and working with singer Megan McCauley turned out to be very short lived. Due to personal and professional conflicts, I have decided to leave the band. Those of you who know me, know how hard I worked to get into this project, and how excited I was to be a part of it. I poured 110% of my blood sweat and tears into it for the last few months. I had nothing but optimism and positive vibes flowing for the future of the band and the music involved. It got to a point where I had to make a choice, and the best choice for me was to walk away. I'm truly grateful to have had the oppurtunity to be a part of it for as long as I did, and to work with such a talented group of people. The 2 shows we played were 100% fun. The 30-40 minutes onstage were worth all the hard work and effort, and I have absolutely no regrets. The other players invloved were all great, and will be missed. Please check them out as they are all top notch, and deserve your attention. You can find Scott(Drums) Patrick(Guitar) and AP(Bass) in my top friends.

As for me, I'm still on mission music, although with a new directive. I'm looking to be part of a band, and will no longer pursue a solo Instrumental path. Rhythm, lead, whatever. I just want to be part of a rock band, playing good music I believe in. Stay tuned.

Thanks to everyone for the continued support and positive feedback :)

Ty

Dear Tyler,
These days have been difficult on a lot of people, astrally-speaking Tyler. So, I see that you had to deal with this as well. I am sorry that you should have been feeling this pulling after having worked so hard. Effectively, I had noticed that you had way less time to advertise for yourself any longer and I did not dare advertising you.. outtablue-style.. you know?? although i tried to repeat your bulletins as i would see them. Welcome back then, and wishing you to find a 100% smooth "astrally-appropriate" solution! Best to you Tyler, you are a fantastic musician.! Vancouver

They will most certainly name the next hurricane in FL after you, buddy. Remember: stay in tune, 3rd fret harmonic, pull whammy bar up 3 octaves...and BURY IT into the pick-ups....waaaaaaeeeerrrrr!!!! Ty, you're coast-to-coast, baby.
Forgive me here, but it reminds me SO MUCH of when I packed my own life into the back of my Ford (with Saelyk, my beloved feline in the front seat) back in 2000 and moved from Cleveland to SF. Pure, artistically driven pursuit. The love of the guitar and music. You are doing the dream, my friend. Keep in touch. Always here for you, Ty. We'll meet up again...

Sorry to hear things didn't work out dude! Best of luck with any future projects you take on. You're one of thee best guitarists I know of, so any band or solo artist will be blessed with a phenomenal musician and gifted songwriter if they get you in!

It's a shame you don't want to pursue the solo instrumental career, but if you wanna rock out in a band, you gotta rock out! :D

Both of your albums are up there in my absolute top top guitar albums, so I'm glad I still have those to listen to :)

Take care man, sending you positive vibes from Scotland!

Stevie
