i've been writing quite a bit about this corbeau session. the reason why we haven't put any of those songs up on the player yet are quite obvious. when you hear those recordings the first time, the record should be available, the last mix should be known as the defintive version etc.. in that respect i think it's a good thing that the live clips sound really muddy. i remember getting "slanted & enchanted" by pavement and being really disappointed to find that the song "perfume-v" sounded so much tamer than the live version i'd recorded to cassette from a tv broadcast. i thought this band was the pop version of "confusion is sex", and they just weren't. anyway, they were really cool, just not as awesome as i'd expected, to put it that way.
