A benefit night for Manchester mental health workers who are striking in support of sacked colleague Karen Reissmann takes place from 7.30pm tomorrow (December 13) at the Irish Community Centre, 17, High Lane, Chrolton, M24 9DJ.
Admission costs £5 including a raffle ticket. There'll be entertainment and a DJ. All proceeds to the strike fund.

Karen, please please do not give up...... keep going! I am the mother of a son who died last year, aged 49. He had schizo-affective disorder. So I have quite a bit of experience with psychiatric hospitals and care in the community.

Why don't you start a support fund? I certainly would donate what I can.... and I am sure many others would too.
