Okay y'all. I know I'm running late and I will keep this short. Due to new interest in the KK, I will posting assignments here now so as to not have a million addies to keep up with.
Watch any Christmas movie you have time for. Or, put some Christmas music on your player, sit down and seriously begin addressing your Christmas cards. They should be done by the 25th of August or rather, mostly done. Print your labels, sign 'em, don't seal them yet if you have a Christmas letter to put in. Your Christmas letter should be coming along as we have been adding to and saving since January, right? If you have several hand made gifts to do, let's hope you have already started them as time will really disappear quickly now. Christmas will be here before we know it. Hobby Lobby has all of their fall season stuff up and a great deal of Christmas. Last time I was in Michael's they had a few fall items as with Joann's. Check now and get what you need. Even if it's not on sale and you REALLY need it, go ahead and buy. It won't be there in September. Keep checking through those Christmas books and cookbooks for cookies that freeze well. We will start baking to freeze in September. If you started a deep clean of your house, i.e. less public areas, keep up the good work. I never did get my master bath and bed done. It's been so busy with Daddy in the hospital, now, for almost 3 months but I'll get that going before the end of the month. This Sat. I'm planning to wash all windows out back. I'm sure Mike will be elated, LOL. Keep working on Christmas. Go through your "tear files" and see what ideas, crafts, etc. you can gather supplies for now. Keep adding to your gift closet, start wrapping if you have paper. I always keep Christmas paper ready to go and I bought a gazillion Christmas cards at an after Christmas clearance. You can order now and actually, Half Price Books always has a good selection in usually in July. Do what you can do now, you will be so glad later. Sorry I've rambled so much....too much diet Coke today, LOL. Love to all, Deb
