So... last week, I got tired of my hair - I wanted a change but I change my hair color all the time so I thought.. I am going to cut it! YEAH.. that's it! So, I did. Since then, it has been humid, hot and gross. As a result, I look like a poodle. So, I look different for sure. I am such an idiot! :)

Now, I have to move to a dry climate until my hair grows out. Thats all, just wanted to share.

you're not an idiot, sandy. however, if you were to accuse yourself of being weird or mean, i might not object. little miss "i have to turn the toilet paper roll upside down to annoy jordan". ps: your hair is still lovely despite your own oppinion! somebody should write a song about being beautiful or something, i think it's got potential as a good song idea.

Yes, somebody should write a song about poodle hair and add it to the "butterfly kisses" spoof too. I still havent heard that- I cant wait!!! Although I have sneaky suspicion its going to makke fun of me! LOL - love ya girl!

Well, it could be orange. I knew a girl in high school who had the poodle look and she wanted to change the way she looked. She did alright. And her hair turned orange, like Bozo. The moral to the story I guess, would be: If you think you messed up, don't mess it up even further.

WOW.. I needed that word tonight my friend! The only thing worse than being a poodle would be to be a poodle named bozo... Such timely advice - thank you :)

Well Sandy, I have been growing my hair long for a while now, and Marilyn wants me to cut it, but I keep saying no. Maybe I will cut it myself. If I did it would most probably look like someone had shorn me with sheep shearing shears, lol.

Wow, ok, well, I think I just sent you two comments....one really crazy one and one that was well, very toned down. I don't know if the first message went through or not because the little box disappeared so fast that I thought it didn't and so I wrote another one and barely saw that little message that says your comments have to be approved....so, well, I just didn't want you to think I was losing it and sent you two messages that repeated some of the same things in it..(haha)..how embarrassing. Ok, that's all, it's all up to you if you want to post them all, won't bother me a bit, really. It's all sounding kinda funny to me now that I think about it.

Be blessed!

Ps Of course unless you really didn't receive the first comment that I sent and then it would just be really silly to post this one...Ok, I'm going now...bye! (lol)

You could move to Garland and I would supply you with plenty of anti-humidity hairspray :)

or not...lol

By the way, this is Lisa, that girl you spoke with on the phone the other day who was having a really hard time. God has done something on the inside of me and I'm ok now. I'm not depressed any more and I'm actually able to laugh at things that are funny. Before it seemed that funny fell off the face of the earth. But now I feel loved, full of joy and unafraid again. Wow God is really fast and good!

I just want more of Him :) (is that being greedy? lol)

God bless you Sandy, you are such a blessing to others and I'm very thankful to God for you. I love seeing what God is doing through you in the lives of those girls you work with. Awesome! Just awesome! All glory be to God.

Love in Jesus,

Lisa :)

Girl I know that feeling all too well. My husband and other people in my family have threatened to hide my sissors from me because I can't stop cutting on my hair. I've been telling everyone for a while now that I'm going to grow it long again. What's wrong with me??? Yes, the thought of insanity has crossed my mind more than once and I probably fit the bill a lot more than you do on that one...hahaha....their coming to take me away ha ha ho ho he he.......hahahahahahahah! See, it happens to me all the time (smile). Do we have to lose our mind to get the mind of Christ??? I wonder. Well, it's good that your hair grows fast because mine does not seem to but I think I've just tricked myself into believing that because I cut it too much. Anyway, and by the way, this is Lisa, the girl from Garland that you spoke with on the phone the other day or was it yesterday??? Oh my I've lost track of the days again already. This is the first post I have ever read of yours that was not ministry related at all. It's all cool though, cause we are family, I got all my sisters and me (whoa, alrighty then...lol)

I hope this has put a smile on your face. It's almost 1 O'clock in the morning and I'm getting a little goofy about right now because I need sleep (another thing that happens to me quite often, in fact it runs in my family, we all stay up late all the time.......and I thought I could teach my kids to be different...lol...who was I kidding???)

God bless and have a super-natural weekend my friend,

love in Jesus,

Lisa :)
