In Special honor of our hero... Vern Gosdin "The Voice"

We've had a few people ask us about his Vernism's so here is a quick little explanation of how they came about and how we will be sharing them with you.

A Vernism is a Joke, Thought, funny saying, or Classic Vern moment.

Thank you for the great comments and messages.  It is so important that we remember our friend for all of his great accomplishments, his VOICE, his SONGS, his love of laughter, the FUN sayings, WORDS, STATEMENTS and especially his JOKES he would come up with every day.  Vernisms were invented by his team as a word to describe all of his Classic sayings.  

He arrived at Heaven's Gate on Wings of Faith, and I know he is in heaven right now so excited to be sharing his Vernisms with anyone he can.

To see you laugh was his greatest joy.  In tribute to his memory we will share Vernism's with you as often as possible.  We do hope you enjoy them .  Thank you for helping us keep the Classic Vern moments alive.  Please keep sharing your memories here. Vern would love it.

I enjoy the "Verism's. I really miss him and cannot believe he is gone. His music will live on forever just as he will, safe in the arms of Jesus. God Bless You All.

Thank you so very much for the Vernism's. I really enjoy them, it helps this ole heart of mine, it keeps Vern with us, and I'm thankful for that. Vern was very special to us,and will be forever. Thanks, Audrey

I spoke to Vern on the phone a couple of times and we traded a few jokes. But I can't repeat or share them 'cause they were a little 'salty.'

We just love Vern, I carry him with me on my cell phone playlist, each time I hear him, makes me realize what we will miss, gonna get the new 4 pack cd, can't wait!

Once there was nothing added to Vern's page for several days, I wrote about my concern that we had't heard from him in few days , and I hoped he was well . He answered "I feel wonderful, how bout you?  You have it written at the top of this page. I read it every time I visit his site, and smile because  I know he was talking to me.  Please don't remove it for a while , it helps a little . I just can't believe it yet. I knew he was very sick, but you think ,if I don't admit it , just maybe it isn't true. I lost my husband suddenly  11 years ago from a sroke.  The pain and loneliness NEVER goes away.

I have always enjoyed the Vernisms .. I use to laugh out loud when I'd read them.  Please continue to post them and thank you for helping keep his memory alive.  He was the greatest and will never be forgotten.
