So, i have to say thanksgiving has really given me time to reflect on the last year and it's not been short of amazing!!! Starting with DEEP SLEEP and ending with the FEST, i have to say i'm genuinely overcome with gratitude for all of the people we've worked with, people we talked to and hung out with, and all the messages we've received over the last few months with all types of requests and kudos and for that i thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!
Unfortunately i find myself a little saddened by the news DEEP SLEEP maybe closing its doors for good. I have to say here in Philly we we're very lucky to have a place like this in our scene... Free Shows / Cheap shows / last minute spot for a traveling band to jump into and play for a few people and i know that doesn't sound monumental, to a band, especially a struggling band, it's incredible. they we're instrumental in NMB'S return with them we might be still shuffling our feet.... waiting for the perfect moment... which they provided us!
So if you're gonna head out this year for some Christmas gifts or just something for yourself... check them out please.
