so i though, "what the heck ben, type yourself a gosh darn blog!"

well here i am...and i have no idea what to type so...ill start with this: jenny lewis might be one of the most attractive people in the music industry. its no lie. she was also in the wizard, a movie that was made by nintendo with fred savage (of wonder years fame) and christian slater. how cool is that?! it was basically a 90 minute commercial for the nintendo power glove which i am using to type this blog with...i actually own two power gloves...typing with them is NOT easy so i think ill take them off and risk losing my cool hipster points. shes also part of two of my more favorite bands in the world, rilo kiley (which also is the band of a certain person from salute your shorts and boy meets world which, coincedentilly stared ben savage, freds little brother) and jenny lewis and the watson twins. rabbit furcoat was one of my favorite albums to ever come out last year...i thought about listening to it just a second ago but i figured that that might be a little too much. i think im gonna change topics here in a second so i will leave you with a pic of jenny lewis so you can see how amazing beautiful the girl is....

is it bad that i had to check that paragraph to make sure i put "watson twins" as opposed to "thompson twins?" that wouldve been gay. but they would walk 500 miles or so...

i think this whole blog is just a medium where i show all my hipster cred and all of that. for example:
*i just wrote alot of words on how cute i think jenny lewis, someone who alot of you people dont even know about.

*i typed half of those words wearing two (2) power gloves as a type of homage to the movie the wizard

*i am listening to ted leo and the pharmacists newest album which is really good

jesus christ, you might as well like...give me a threadless tee (i dont own any unfortunately) and some straight leg jeans and some pumas or something. i already own 3 pairs of chucks mainly cause they fall apart easilly and secondly cause theyre comfortable. ok im done talking about hipsters...

lets talk....OH OH!!! lets talk about one of my favorite things....history!!!
i love history so much. i have no idea why. i think it has to do with my mom never letting me watch childrens programming when i was a child and forcing me to watch the discovery channel and history channel. my favorite thing in history is studying ancient religions. yeah this isnt as interesting as the hipster chat or as cute as jenny lewis but dammit, have you ever watched the history channel? they show the history of twinkies! the food not the sexual orientation

that paragraph was worthless but, like the title suggests, i just really wanna type and decided to make a blog out of it.

i really wish i knew what i wanted out of life...i would like to have a girlfriend you know? but all the girls around here that i can actually see myself dating are either taken or not interested in dating me cause "were too close" or theyre well...not interested in boys...and the girls that do show interest in me either live 30842389738923498293525 miles away or are complete bitches that i cant get along with...but then i cant really get alone with alot of people since im sort of an asshole. oh well.

i like harry potter (yeah that was a sharp turn in topic). they are really good books. they are well written, entertaining, and they have gotten countless kids, myself included, interested in reading and writing at a young age. i like harry potter so much that ive utilized my somewhat meager musical talents into playing wizard rock. what is wizard rock? well its music done by kids age 4 to age 35 who are fans of the harry potter series where we basically write songs about the stories. think fanfiction done to music and without all the strange creepy overtones. were basically a small, yet quickly growing community of fans from all over the world who love music and HP and have either a guitar and some recording equipment, a garage, fruityloops software or something. its such a cool community cause were not only in it for the music and community rather than fame or fortune (although some bands, such as the community fathers Harry and the Potters have gotten fairly popular) were a completely self contained D-I-Y community. we do everything by ourselves without the help of outside sponsers or coorporations. its so cool. for the last few weeks, ive been working on rerecording my stuff with better quality and more, well...musicallity i guess youd call it. im going to be selling this cd to fans in the community and donating a very large and substantial chunk of the money from it to a charity. cause honestly i dont care about the money. this isnt about money, its about getting kids into reading and good music that you dont get to hear on mtv or vh1 or even fuse. the wizard rock scene is really one of the only real independent scenes out there in music and i love it.

yeah...i think im finished typing. however i originally typed "im finnished" and that made me laugh cause i imagined someone getting smacked with a large man from finland with the smacker going "youve been finnished bitch!" in a dave chappel doing rick james voice. wow i just made a terrible pun...i really am done now cause i just made myself angry with that lol
