Just a quick hellooooo world.  I am still alive just really busy and not much time for mySpace as usual.

First off....welcome a new addition to our family!

This is an older post but wanted to put it first before the next one :)

Mom got me a puppy for my birthday!  Mom came to stay for a couple days and we went to adopt our babies last Thursday.  She got a little boy, all chocolate color, and I got a little girl all white except for her brown britches and a round dot on her back and a small one on her ear :aww:  They are American Pit Bull Terriers :heart:  After losing my Copper from old age I was really missing having a doggie and the APBT breed is one of my favorites.  So without further ado, please meet Luna!







The kitties arent too pleased LOL! -but they are adjusting very well and Romeo is really getting along with her nicely :)

Needless to say its been hard as anyone that has puppies know, but the training is moving along well so far even with the lack of sleep I have gotten ;)

I am not even sure where to start, just so busy and havent gotten much sleep lately so yea...whew! :faint:

First off an update on Luna, she is doing well and sends her love.  We had an accident this past weekend and had to take her to the emergency room though.  We were all outside saturday, the weather was gorgeous, working in the garden and Luna was playing with one of our kitties Romeo.  Well Romeo jumped up on the picnic table and Luna of course followed but when she was on the bench part she tried to jump down and her back leg got caught.  Needless to say she kept going but her leg was trapped in the bench.  We were really scared as we thought it was broken :(  We rushed her in and after some xrays and whatnot, to our relief, and hers too I am sure, it wasnt broken so no cast!  It is very badly sprained and the doc said to keep her calm and quiet for about a week.  Anyone who knows puppies knows the words calm and quiet cannot be used for them :D  It has been pretty crazy to say the least.  Here are some current pictures of her.  The girl looooves to play in the dirt, must be because she is mostly white and loves to get dirty LOL!







Then our kitty Isis which you may remember from an earlier journal of mine is still having eye problems so we are trying yet another medicine combo in hopes this time it will work.  We are trying to avoid having to take her to an ophthalmologist where she will have to have shots directly into her eyes :fear:  So she is hanging in there.  Further to bad news we found two more lumps on Kiwi our kitty who previously had breast cancer so she is going back to the vet as well.  We are very scared and worried about her but trying to remain optimistic :heart:

But to end this on a good note, I picked up my first foster kittens for the season.  I have 4 little babies about a week or so old when I picked them up, there poor mom was hit by a car :(  They are doing very well though!  Sooooo damn cute and love to purr and make baby muffins with their paws :aww:  Their eyes are just now starting to open with one of them ahead of the rest, that one is the biggest:









I am just sooo busy with the fur kids I really havent had time to do much else!  But its a good feeling as I love them all so and it makes me feel good to be able to help in anyway I can.  We are struggling to meet the bills though as the vet visits are really piling up :(

Well I must be going as its time to feed the kittens, take out the puppy, and throw the horses some hay, and then feed myself as I often forget to do that ;)
