So, once again it's Blood Drive time.  Every year we do a massive blood drive for the Red Cross in late summer, cuz that's when supplies get really low.  Or maybe it's just when lots more people get really maimed.  Anyway, we've always given away our cool KLOS Blood Drive t-shirts to anyone who gives blood, but a few years ago we started giving away free concert tickets to blood donors, too.  This has proven to be extraordinarily popular (duh.)

In the past, we've given away tickets to Iron Maiden, Dio, Ozzfest, Tom Petty, Black Sabbath, lots more...

THIS year, you get your choice of 3 concerts to choose from:
Cruefest with Motley Crue, Buckcherry, Papa Roach, Sixx A.M. and more on August 2,
ZZ Top with, um, Brooks & Dunn on Aug 3,
or Masters of Metal with Judas Priest, Heaven & Hell (which is basically the Mob Rules lineup of Black Sabbath), Motorhead and Testament on Aug 30.
All these shows are at Glen Helen Pavilion.

So, if any of this appeals to you, you should probably act fast and pay attention to the following:

Make a reservation with the Red Cross NOW.
In LA and OC call 800-GIVE-LIFE.
In Riverside and the IE call 800-TRY-GIVING.

To get the goods, you have to give during the KLOS Blood Drive, which starts July 30 and lasts until Aug 2.
You get ONE ticket when you donate.

The tickets aren't guaranteed or anything. 
When they're gone, they're gone, so no crying.  That's why we say act NOW.

If you don't or can't make an appointment, you can still do a "walk-in" donation, but obviously, folks with appointments will be given priority.  So you might have to wait a bit.

You still ALSO get the t-shirt.
You get juice and cookies.  Yay.
You get special good karma points with the Big Boss (wo)man .  Helps out if you act like a tool the other 364 days of the year.
