Today's Reading: Genesis 3

Genesis 3 finds us in the Garden of Eden with Adam, Eve, and the snake. The snake has convinced Eve to take the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. She shares with Adam and they realize that they are naked.

While this was the first sin, it can also parallel modern sin. We know that there are things that we are not supposed to do, that are against God. He has told us not to do them. Sometimes we think that something is "not that bad" and we try it.

After we "test the waters", and with a Godly heart evaluate the situation, we gain knowledge like Adam and Eve. We understand that what we have done was against God and now, armed with the knowledge, fully see the harm that that specific sin can do!
